In this Article, We would like to study about Tiger Reserve in India. For the first time in the world, the Tiger Reserves in India initiative for the conservation of species was taken by the Government of India in 1973 by launching project Tiger 1973 on 1 April 1973. This project started in 1973 from Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand and since then a total of 54 Tiger Reserves have been declared in India.
